Fr. Eric Hill, Pastor

Fr. Eric was born and raised in Northwest, Indiana. He is the youngest of 6 children.

His first assignment was at Transfiguration under the pastorate of Msgr. Patrick Bishop. While Vicar, he was actively involved in all parish ministries and given the additional ministry of Catholic Chaplain to Cobb County Adult Detention Center. In the fall of 2002, Archbishop Donahue assigned him to be the Parochial Vicar at Prince of Peace in Buford.

In the summer of 2005, Fr. Eric was assigned to his first pastorate at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Decatur by Archbishop Wilton Gregory. He learned how to read Creole and served the Haitian Community as part of the parish ministry of Saints Peter and Paul.

In the Fall of 2010, Fr Eric was assigned to Prince of Peace as Pastor.

Fr. Branson Hipp, Parochial Vicar

The son of Mark and Jan Hipp of Fayetteville and the brother of Dustin Hipp of Houston, Texas, Devin Hipp of Virginia Beach, Va., and Miah Hipp of Atlanta. Fr. Branson has his Bachelor of arts in philosophy, 2011, St. Joseph Seminary College, St. Benedict, La.; master of divinity degree, 2015, Mount St. Mary’s Seminary, Emmitsburg, Md. In his free time he enjoys playing racquetball, hiking/backpacking, tennis and reading. Fr. Branson speaks English and Spanish with a love of the sacrament of Confession. Ordained in 2015, he comes to Prince of Peace after serving two years at St. Patrick’s in Norcross, GA.

Deacon Bob Perri

Deacon Bob was born in St. Paul Minnesota. St. Louis University, bachelor of arts in philosophy; University of Minnesota Medical School, doctor of medicine; University of Minnesota, internal medicine internship and residency; University of Minnesota, hematology-oncology fellowship; Spring Hill College, Mobile, Alabama, certificate in ecclesial ministry.
His medical profession has taken him on many journey’s including: St. Paul (Minnesota) Ramsey County Hospital emergency room, staff physician; University of Minnesota/VA Medical Center, Minneapolis: staff hematologist-oncologist (associate professor); director, Flow Cytometry Laboratory; chair, Cooperative Cancer Study Group; chief, VAMC hematology-oncology fellowship program; research investigator, career development award; instructor, Medical Students Blood Course; medical career advisor for students, interns/residents and fellows.
Deacon Bob and his wife, Linda, have one daughter and one grandson!

Deacon Bill Donohue

Deacon Bill Donohue was born and raised in Ridgewood, NJ. He moved to Atlanta in 1980 to begin his career in hotel and resort management. He and Terrilyn were married in 1983 and have five children. They became members at Prince of Peace in 2008 and Bill was ordained in 2015 and is involved with RCIA, CRHP, Marriage Encounter, Social Action Ministry, and the Embrace ministry.

Deacon Nicholas Johnson

Deacon Nicholas Johnson was ordained in 2004 and has served at Prince of Peace since 2008. He grew up in Lawrenceville where he and Robin married in 1984. They have 3 children and now live in Hog Mountain. Nicholas works full-time. When not at work or at work in ministry, Nicholas is trying to learn to speak Spanish, so as to better serve all the people of Prince of Peace



Deacon Paul Krarup

Deacon Paul Krarup was born in San Diego, California. He worked in banking as a computer software engineer before moving to Georgia in 1990 to work as a programmer/analyst for a banking software company. Deacon Paul was ordained to the diaconate in February, 2013 and serves at Prince of Peace where he has been a member for over 20 years. He was married to his wife Lin for 30 years until she passed away after a battle with cancer. He is retired and lives in Flowery Branch. They have one son who lives in Asheville, N.C.



Deacon Tom Walter

Deacon Tom Walter was born in Chicago, Illinois. He attended Illinois State University, where he met his wife Susan. They were married in 1976 after he completed his Master’s Degree in Counseling. They stayed at Illinois State for an additional year, then moved to West Virginia for a year and finally moved to Dahlonega, Georgia in 1978 where Tom worked as a counselor at North Georgia College. After four years, they moved to Athens where Tom completed his doctorate in Counseling and Student Affairs Administration. Tom joined the Church by Profession of Faith at the Catholic Center at the University of Georgia at the Easter Vigil in 1983. He currently serves as University Ombudsman at the University of North Georgia. Tom and Susan have two children and three grandchildren. Tom was ordained on February 11, 2012.


Deacon Mike Jones, Retired

Deacon Mike Jones graduated from Oklahoma State University. He is married to Ruth and they are parents of 6 children and grandparents to 15. They moved to Atlanta in 1969 and they were members of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Chamblee, Ga.
Mike was ordained to the Diaconate on May 16, 1987. He accepted a call from Fr. Richard Morrow, Pastor in June of 1988 to come to Prince of Peace as their first deacon. Mike says that coming to Prince of Peace was life changing for both he and Ruth. She too became involved in RCIA as the first director, Stephen Ministry Leader, and Spiritual Director.


Deacon Bill Speed, Retired

Deacon Bill Speed was ordained in 2000 and is one of our founding members of Prince of Peace.
He and wife Naida have been married for 58 years.
